RDEK is hoping to increase the registrations for the Regional Evacuation Notification System (ENS)
The RDEK is hoping to increase the registrations for the Regional Evacuation Notification System (ENS), and to assist those who may need a hand, will be holding a series of registration events this spring.
This is a great time to let us help you register, or if you’ve already registered to quickly verify your address pin is properly placed.
The ENS is powered by Voyent Alert! and notifies residents and property owners only in case of evacuation orders or alerts during critical events such as wildfires, floods, or hazardous materials incidents.
The tour will include stops throughout the region. All residents are welcome to stop by during these scheduled visits to receive assistance signing up for the program. The full schedule can be found here: https://www.rdek.bc.ca/…/evacuation_notification_system
Residents may also call the RDEK to ask for help signing up to the system at 1-888-478-7335 and can sign up online anytime by visiting the emergency information page at www.rdek.bc.ca
