Domestic
All dogs over the age of four months residing in the District of Invermere require an annual dog license, from January 1st to December 31st.
Licensing allows Animal Control Services to contact you as soon as possible if your animal has been impounded or if the animal has been injured as a result of traffic or as a result of other causes.
If you live within the District of Invermere and own a dog, please drop by the municipal office at your earliest convenience to pay for your dog license and pick up a dog tag. No application form is required.

For Dog Control issues outside of Invermere, the Regional District also provides dog control services in Electoral Areas F and G. The dog control officer for those areas can be contacted by phone at 250-342-0063 or by email at kofarrell@rdek.bc.ca.
