Cenotaph Park is a central town plaza space in downtown Invermere marked by a cenotaph that was constructed in 1968. A renovation to the park was completed in 2015 thanks to funding from the  Resort Municipality Initiative program funding as well as from Veteran’s Affairs Canada.

Cenotaph Park is the gathering place for Invermere’s annual Remembrance Day ceremony and community events throughout the year.

It’s also a lovely spot complete with benches, flower beds and greenspace that offers shoppers and passerbys an attractive, relaxing place to rest and take in the picturesque downtown.

Cenotaph Park is located on the southwest corner of 7th Avenue and 12th Street.
