The Invermere Snowflake Festival returns to Kinsmen Beach on Friday, January 16!
The District of Invermere is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and we are kicking things off with a bang! Don’t miss the fireworks display at 8:00 pm!
❄️Please note that all activities are weather dependent and we are hoping for thicker ice to allow for the full lineup of events.
Downtown Invermere Snowflake Scavenger Hunt❄️

- Friday, January 16 – Sunday, January 18
Stroll through Downtown Invermere and spot snowflakes displayed in participating storefront windows for your chance to win local gift certificates. This fun, family‑friendly activity is a great way to enjoy the festival, support local businesses, and embrace winter in Invermere.

How It Works
- Pick up a scavenger hunt form from:
- What’s Up Invermere Facebook page
- Any participating business
- Columbia Valley Centre lobby
- Download & Print Form
- Walk through Downtown Invermere and look for snowflakes displayed in storefront windows.
- Write down the name of each business where you find a snowflake.
- Find at least 10 snowflakes to be entered to win 1 of 3 × $50 local gift certificates.
- Find all 16 snowflakes to earn a second entry.
Submit your completed form by:
Emailing it to events@invermere.net, or Dropping it off at any participating business or the Columbia Valley Centre – Community Services Office.
Deadline: Entries must be received by Monday, January 19.
