12th St Pedestrian-Only Zone Downtown Invermere

For the second year in a row, the Invermere Business Committee, Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce with the support of the District of Invermere Invermere, is transforming a section of 12th St into a vibrant pedestrian-only destination. This space offers a unique downtown experience for both residents and visitors. The District of Invermere Public Works Crew is setting up the pedestrian-only zone on 12th St today. Barricades are in place to protect our Crew as they prepare the area.

The 12th St Gathering Space in Downtown Invermere will be open for the summer season starting this weekend and running until September 8th! We encourage everyone to visit and enjoy this lively outdoor space. With added flowers, picnic tables, and umbrellas, this is the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and take part in some of the activities happening throughout the summer.

Please note: Parking in front of the Invermere Post Office remains open and accessible.
