NOTICE OF WORK – ROAD CLOSURE 13th AVENUE INFRASTRUCTURE REPLACEMENT PROJECT – Phase 2

MarWest Industries Ltd. (Castlegar) will be resuming work on the 13^th Avenue Infrastructure Replacement project on Monday, June 26^th, 2023 to prepare the section of road between 14^th and 15^th Streets for paving.

To help ensure the 13^th Avenue road base between 14^th and 15^th Streets is in proper condition for paving work and be completed as quickly as possible; the District and MarWest need to close 13^th Avenue to through traffic between 14^th and 15^th Streets effective Monday, June 26^th  through Friday, July 7^th.  During the road closure residents of properties along 13^th Avenue between 14^th and 15^th Streets, as well as 12A Avenue will still be able to access their homes.  13^th Avenue motor vehicle traffic to and from the areas south of 15^th Street will be diverted to 15^th Avenue until 13^th Avenue reopens.

Please pay careful attention to directional signage / reader boards near the project site; those directions will be updated regularly by Marwest. The District and MarWest Industries apologize in advance for traffic delays and disruptions that this important work may impose on the public.
