2-hour BC Hydro outage on Monday, July 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m

BC Hydro:

We’ve complete our damage assessment along the transmission line near Cranbrook. One of the transmission poles is significantly damaged as a result of the St. Mary’s Road wildfire and needs to be replaced.

To ensure that the pole does not fail, which would result in a lengthy power outage, we will be taking a 2-hour outage on Monday, July 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. MST to complete the necessary repairs. The outage will impact customers in Invermere, Golden, Parsons and Radium Hot Springs.  We will be communicating this information via email and phone to customers today.
