Wildfire Community Preparedness Day grant applications are open until Jan. 31st!

Concerned about the potential of wildfires threatening your community? Keen to do your part while enjoying a social event with your neighbours?

Here’s an opportunity to kick-start your 2022 summer with a $500 grant from FireSmart^TM Canada for your Wildfire Community Preparedness Day event!

Eligible projects vary from neighbourhood yard cleanups, FireSmart awareness events or working towards becoming a Recognized FireSmart Neighbourhood.

Wildfire Community Preparedness Day is Saturday, May 7^th, 2022, but local events can be held until October 31^st, 2022.
