Traffic Diversions – 13th Avenue – In Support of Water and Sewer Infrastructure Work

Effective Tuesday morning, July 19^th, 2022, Motor Vehicle Traffic will be diverted away from 13^th Avenue between 13^th and 14^th Streets to support infrastructure work by Marwest Industries for the District of Invermere.

 

Motorists from the Westridge, Westside, Pineridge, and Castlerock neighbourhoods may access other parts of Invermere by using the following designated traffic diversion routes:

 

Route 1 – Temporary Connection between 13^th Avenue and 13^th Street

• Proceeding from 13^th Avenue – turn East on to 15^th Street and proceed to 12^th Avenue, then turn North on to 12^th Avenue and proceed to 13^th Street
• Proceeding from 13^th Street – turn South on to 12^th Avenue and proceed to 15^th Street, then turn West on to 15^th Street and proceed to 13^th Avenue

 

Route 2 – Temporary Connection between Pine Ridge Drive and 14^th Street to 13^th Avenue

• Proceeding from Pine Ridge Drive / 14^th Street – turn West on to Canyon View Road and proceed North to 10^th Street, then turn East on to 10^th Street and proceed to 13^th Avenue
• Proceeding from 13^th Avenue – turn West on to 10^th Street and proceed to Canyon View Road, then turn South on to Canyon View Road and proceed to Pine Ridge Drive / 14^th Street

 

While these Detours are in effect, Please Slow Down and Be Patient

Please pay careful attention to directional signage / reader boards as those directions will be updated regularly by Marwest.
