As a result, there will be a four-hour outage affecting about 8,800 customers in Radium, Edgewater, Brisco, Spillimacheen, Parson, Golden and Field. Much of the work will be done “live wire” to minimize customer impacts, so the outage needs to be carried out during daylight hours.

Affected area: Radium Hot Springs north of Forsters Landing Road, north along Highway 95 to Golden, Golden rural area west to Donald and east to Field

All customers affected by this outage will be notified in advance of the outage via email and auto-dialer recorded phone message sent to the contact information we have on file. Industrial and commercial customers will be contacted directly by our Key Account managers.

Thank you for your understanding while we carry out this essential work to repair the vital Transmission line serving East Kootenay customers.”
