COVID-19 Update March 24, 2020
The District of Invermere has closed all playgrounds, public recreation areas, and washrooms.
The District of Invermere is asking all residents and visitors to avoid using public playgrounds and recreation areas throughout the Town. This includes playgrounds, ball diamonds, the skate park, and picnic areas.
Walking trails will remain open, however, we do ask that users maintain at least 2 metres from others using the trails. If you are out in public, keep at least 2 metres between yourself and others. Cough into your sleeve or elbow and stay home if you are sick. Please stop socializing in groups. These measures can help slow the spread of COVID – 19 by limiting close contact with others.
