No more falling back

This Sunday, November 1, leave your clocks alone. The East Kootenay is now on Mountain Daylight Time year-round, so the time you see today is the time you’ll keep all winter.

What this means for you:
• Same time as Alberta, all year
• One hour ahead of the rest of BC
• Darker mornings and lighter evenings through the winter

The Regional District of East Kootenay Board made this decision on August 14, after more than 14,000 people shared their views in a regional survey. Most phones and computers will stay correct on their own. If something shows the wrong time on Sunday morning, check its time zone setting.
