Valley Appreciation Day 2024

Bull Riding in the Rockies is taking place this Friday July 19th and Valley Appreciation Day is taking place this Saturday July 20th from 9am-1pm.

Are you coming out to enjoy these events and you are wondering where you are going to park? We will be placing event parking signs along the downtown core to make this easy for you!!

We thank you for not driving if you have had one too many wobbly pops on Friday night…. however, to avoid being towed ( yes we will tow) please park in the appropriate areas! Please plan ahead! The best way to get to these events is to walk or ride a bike!

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING FRIDAY JULY 19TH- SATURDAY JULY 20TH. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE 6 AM SATURDAY JULY 20TH! VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT OWNERS EXPENSE.

These areas will also be closed to vehicle traffic on Saturday July 20

🚫13th Street ( Closure at Invermere Curling Club/7th Ave & 13th St Intersection).

🚫7th Ave ( Closure at 7th Ave & 13th St Intersection to Valhalla Pure Outfitters/ AG Foods Parking Lot).

🚫Lakeview Parking Lot ( this is the parking lot located behind the Arena, this will be the location of the Invermere Farmers and Artists Market on Saturday July 20th).
