JOB DESCRIPTION:
The WildSafeBC Community Coordinator position is more than just a job; it is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in reducing human-wildlife conflicts where you live. This position requires maturity, self-reliance and the ability to work alone for long periods of time with minimal supervision. Professionalism, commitment and good communication skills are also essential.
Community coordinators will be trained in the use of proven education and delivery techniques, which they will then be expected to implement within their communities regarding conflict-reduction information about all species of wildlife as part of BCCF’s WildSafeBC program.
JOB DETAILS:
Part-time: Total of 600 hours over the duration of the contract
Start date: Monday May 10th – November 30th 2021
Wage: $20 per hour
Closing date: April 7th, 2021 – 4:00 pm Pacific Time
