Water System Flushing Notice: April 14 – May 26, 2026

The District of Invermere will be conducting water system flushing from April 14 – May 26, 2026, on weekdays between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

What to expect during flushing:

• ✅ Water quality is not affected — regular treatment and testing continue as usual
• 💧 You may notice a temporary drop in water pressure
• 🌫️ Water may appear cloudy or slightly discoloured due to minerals and sediment being flushed from the lines
• 👕 Please be mindful when running washing machines during this time

If your water becomes discoloured:
Locate a cold water tap closest to your water meter
Run the water until it runs clear (this can take up to 15 minutes)
You may need to repeat this process!
