Subject: Upcoming Construction of Multi-Use Pathway on 5th Street

Dear Residents,

We are writing to inform you that construction of a new multi-use pathway will begin on the north side of 5th Street, from 10th Avenue to the west side of 13th Avenue. Work may take about 3 weeks and is tentatively scheduled to begin around third week of September and may continue to end of October.

This project will improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians and cyclists using the corridor. The new pathway is designed to provide a safer, more convenient route for walking and biking in the neighborhood. (See reverse side of this letter for plan view of project).

During construction, there may be temporary impacts to traffic, parking, and access along the affected section of 5th Street. We will make every effort to minimize disruption and will post signage and updates as work progresses. Residents are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time when in the area.
