NOTICE OF INTENT Development Variance Permit 26.04 Lot 37, District Lot 7158 Kootenay District Plan NEP85798 PID 027-374-785 (Subject Property)
Notice is hereby given to property owners within 50 metres of the subject property indicated above. Property owners are required to provide all tenants, leaseholders, and occupants with a copy of this notice.
The District of Invermere is considering a Development Variance Permit application to:
1. Vary Section 5.3(3)(d) of District of Invermere Zoning Bylaw No. 1145, 2002, which establishes minimum exterior side parcel line setbacks within the R-1 Single Family Residential Zone, as summarized in Table 1 below.

The requested variance is required to permit construction of a single-family dwelling on the subject parcel as shown below. The proposed attached deck on the south side of the dwelling requires a minor variance to the exterior side yard setback to accommodate the site layout and garage access from the east side of the property.
Variance location for DVP 26.04 application:
Decision on the Development Variance permit will be made by the Director of Development Services, Council Delegated Authority. The DVP decision will be made at 10:00 am MT on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at the District of Invermere Municipal Office, 914 8th Avenue, Invermere, B.C.
