24/7 hotline for short-term rental concerns

 In Bylaws

If you’ve ever had a concern about a short-term rental in your neighbourhood, noise, parking, garbage, or something that just doesn’t feel right, you don’t have to wait until Monday morning to do something about it.

The District of Invermere offers a 24/7 hotline for short-term rental concerns. You can reach us three ways:

What happens when you report a concern

A real person takes your report and logs the details. Depending on the issue, it’s then passed to the right team, bylaw enforcement, RCMP, or another department, for follow-up. We don’t share your contact information with the property host.

What kinds of concerns can I report?

Anything connected to a short-term rental property, including:

  • Excessive noise at night or during quiet hours
  • Parking issues, blocked driveways, or overflow onto neighbouring properties
  • Garbage, waste, or property condition
  • Suspected unlicensed operation
  • Health, safety, or fire concerns

If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, call anyway, the hotline staff will help you figure out the right next step.
