District of Invermere Public Works Road re-paving
District of Invermere Public Works staff have organized road re-paving work to be done next week by our contractor, Valley Blacktop. Re-paving will be taking place in the following areas, which are shown on the map below:
- Industrial Road 1 & 2
- Panorama Drive
- Laurier Street
- 10th Avenue
- 17th Street
Weather permitting, road re-paving is expected to start on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 on 10th Avenue. No-Parking signs will be posted along 10th Avenue in advance of that work to help ensure parked vehicles do not interfere with the re-paving.
Roads in non-residential areas may be re-paved at night to minimize disruptions to traffic and residents. Other re-paving work may take place if the budget and schedule permits. Project updates may be posted on the District of Invermere’s Facebook page, if required.
