Evacuation Route Plan – Resident Survey
As part of the Regional District of East Kootenay’s ongoing emergency preparedness efforts, the RDEK is creating a Regional Evacuation Route Plan. The plan will include specific evacuation route plans for several communities, along with regional evacuation routes including the District of Invermere.
A resident survey is now open to help with the data-gathering phase of the project – and we would REALLY love your participation. All East Kootenay residents in municipalities, rural areas or First Nations are encouraged to participate in the survey. Deadline to take part is October 17th.
