2021 Budget Survey Results
The results below are from the District of Invermere 2021 Budget Survey.
Results and comments will be provided to Council for their consideration during Budget deliberations during a Committee of the Whole meeting on March 9, 2021.
The annual budget survey provides the public the opportunity to identify priorities in the DOI budgeting process. Survey responses are important to the completion of the 2021-2025 Budget and will help determine where funds and services are allocated, and how tax rates are determined. Your participation and perspective are important to all of us. We thank you for your input!
Public Engagement for the 2021 Budget was conducted in February 2021. 196 residents participated in the 2021 Budget survey.
The annual survey was available on our website (www.invermere.net) and by paper copies. Comments were also accepted by mail and on our Facebook page.
The Public Consultation Period ended on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 4:30 p.m.
A Virtual Coffee with Council session was also held on Zoom on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:00am with several members of the public attending.
