The District is very excited to officially open the brand-new Columbia Valley Community Facility.

There will be an official ribbon cutting along with tours of the entire facility, food and entertainment by Small Town Revival on Wednesday, September 19th, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

This building features a large main hall, and public lobby that connects to the public library, kitchen and roof top patio.

Some amenities are not currently available. Please contact the office about what is currently available and the time line of a particular amenity of interest.

The total hall size is approximately 6300sqft and is accessed through the publicly shared lobby. It has the ability to transform into a 500 seat banquet style or with the partition, change the space to be two equal size rooms. The dimensions of the hall is 57 ft wide by 110 ft long. The hall is supplied with banquet chairs for a seating capacity 500 in the main hall. Seating can be configured in multiple ways There are 50x6ft round tables that will seat 10 people per table and additional rectangular tables will be provided.

In the near future, the main hall will be supplied with retractable theatre seating to accommodate up to 220 people for performances and films.

Decorations will not be permitted to be attached to the walls, doors or ceiling of the new centre. All decorations must be “stand alone”.

The different prices of the hall have been listed below for your convenience. For a more detailed list or a quote for an event please check the attached bylaw or contact the District office.

Kitchen:

The Centre offers a large kitchen area with cooktops, deep fryers, fridges, dish pit and dishwasher along with a beverage serving area and beverage window. There will be no plates, cutlery or linens provided. All catering supplies for banquets will be required to be rented. The price for the kitchen is listed below for your convenience.

Roof Top Patio:

The roof top patio is a unique space for the new centre. It is available for rent; however, pricing has not yet been established. The patio can be accessed by the elevator or exterior stairs and can accommodate a maximum of 80 people for an event. Tents, umbrellas and sunshades will not be permitted due to safety issues. The hall banquet tables and chairs are not permitted on the roof top patio, however the District will be securing outdoor furniture for this space in the near future.
